4. Today we are looking at the concept of oikos, a Greek word meaning household. Read Acts 16:22-40. What strikes you in this passage?
5. Who might have been involved in the jailer's household?
6. In those days, there was no nuclear family. People lived close together in extended households. There was no distinction between work and family. How can we use this idea of oikos to think abut our own relationships?
7. Write down the names of people you typically see in a week, whom you spend time with. In one column write the names of those who are walking with the Lord, in the other those who are not living as disciples. This is your oikos.
8. Start praying daily for these people to come to know Jesus.
