It is a sad fact that the
family, which we believe to be essential to a solid, stable society, is
often not the place of safety that it is meant to be. Christians are as
prone to Domestic Violence as any other segment of society.
Unfortunately, many ministers
and pastors are ignorant of the facts about DV. In fact many ministers
unwittingly contribute to the problem by preaching in a way that can
easily be construed as approving of violence in the home.
While some of the more liberal
churches have developed resources on this issue, there is little
available on the internet that pastors of evangelical or charismatic
theology would find useful.
This site is an attempt to
bridge that gap.
